Last updated: 29 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how China 2 West Services Ltd ("C2W", "we", "us") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit c2w.us or submit an enquiry through this site. We are the data controller for the information described below. If you have any questions, contact us at inquiries@china2west.com.
1. Who we are
C2W is a British-owned sourcing and contract-manufacturing company that has operated in China since 2005. This site, c2w.us, is a marketing and enquiry site for our services. It is part of the wider C2W Group (china2west.com and associated companies).
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
When you submit our enquiry form, we collect the details you provide, which may include:
- Your name and the company you represent
- Work email address and phone number
- Company website, country and state or region
- Your project or product name, its status, and the details you describe about your enquiry
- How you heard about us
Incomplete or abandoned enquiries
Our enquiry form has several steps. If you complete the first step and provide contact details but do not finish the form, we may retain the information you have already entered so that we can follow up to see whether we are able to help. This information is stored securely, is used only for that purpose, is not added to any marketing list, and is not passed into our CRM unless your enquiry is later reviewed and confirmed as relevant. You can ask us to delete it at any time (see "Your rights" below).
Information collected automatically
When you use the site, we and our service providers may collect:
- Your IP address and an approximate location (country, region, city) derived from it
- Browser type and device information (user agent)
- The pages you view, the page you arrived from, and basic interaction and analytics data
- Information needed to detect and prevent bots, spam and fraudulent clicks
3. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential and fraud-prevention technologies are always on. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you accept them through our cookie banner, and until then those tools run in a cookieless or "consent denied" mode. You can change your choice at any time using .
- Essential: security and core site functionality.
- Bot protection: Cloudflare Turnstile, used to verify that form submissions come from real people.
- Fraud prevention: ClickCease, used to detect and block fraudulent ad clicks.
- Analytics: Google Analytics and privacy-friendly Vercel analytics, to understand how the site is used. Consent-gated.
- Advertising: Google Ads and the HubSpot tracking cookie, to measure campaign performance and link your enquiry to your visit. Consent-gated.
4. How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiry, assess your project and provide our services
- To contact you about your enquiry, including following up on an incomplete enquiry
- To operate, secure and improve the site, and to prevent spam, abuse and ad fraud
- To measure the performance of our marketing, where you have consented to analytics and advertising cookies
For visitors in the UK and EU, our legal bases are: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, running our business and keeping the site secure; your consent for analytics and advertising cookies; and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
5. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf, including:
- HubSpot (our CRM, for managing enquiries)
- Supabase (secure database that stores submissions)
- Vercel (website hosting and performance analytics)
- Cloudflare (bot protection)
- Google (analytics and advertising, where consented)
- ClickCease (ad-fraud prevention)
We may also share data within the C2W Group to deliver our services, and where required by law. Because we operate internationally, your data may be processed outside your country, including in China. Where this happens for UK or EU data, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, where relevant, to manage our business relationship and meet legal obligations. Incomplete or abandoned enquiry data is kept only for a short review period and is deleted if it does not lead to a relevant enquiry. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email inquiries@china2west.com. If you are in the UK or EU and believe we have not handled your data properly, you also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit access to those who need it.
9. Children
This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
